Privacy Policy

Information we collect

We collect account email addresses, billing and purchase references, recipient names and email addresses, scheduling details, support messages, security events, and the private video Gifts families choose to record. Stripe handles payment-card information; RememberMeVault does not store complete card numbers.

How information is used

We use information only to operate accounts, process purchases, protect Vaults, store and deliver Gifts, provide support, prevent abuse, send required service notices, honor cancellation and deletion requests, and comply with law.

Service providers

Cloudflare provides application hosting, private object storage, database, security, and delivery infrastructure. Stripe processes payments and renewals. Brevo sends transactional emails. Meta provides optional advertising measurement on our public information pages only when a visitor chooses to allow it. These providers process information under their own contractual and privacy obligations.

Optional advertising cookies

With your permission, our public website uses the Meta Pixel to help us understand whether advertisements on Facebook or Instagram lead people to RememberMeVault. Meta may receive browser and device information, the public page visited, an approximate location derived from an IP address, and public-site actions such as viewing pricing or beginning and completing checkout. We do not send private Gift recordings, recipient details, Vault contents, or the information entered into family forms to Meta.

These optional cookies are off unless you choose “Allow optional cookies.” You may decline without losing access to the public website or RememberMeVault services. Private Gifts

Gift files are stored in a private bucket and are not published at public storage addresses. Recipient access requires email verification. We do not sell family data, place advertising inside private Gifts, or use private recordings to train public artificial-intelligence models.

Retention and deletion

Active Gifts are retained while Legacy Protection remains active and as needed for delivery. Cancellation begins a 60-day safeguard period with reminders before deletion. A recipient may confirm a downloaded Gift was safely saved, allowing the hosted copy to be removed. Limited billing, security, or legal records may be retained as required for fraud prevention, accounting, disputes, or law.

Choices and requests

Families can edit or delete undelivered Gifts, change delivery details, cancel Legacy Protection, and request access to or deletion of personal information. We may verify identity before fulfilling a request.

Security and incidents

We use access controls, private storage, encrypted connections, verification codes, rate limits, administrator MFA, audit records, and recovery procedures. No system is risk-free. If an incident materially affects personal information, we will investigate and provide notices as required by applicable law.
